AI Vibe Coding Engineer (Games)
Soda Game is an AI-driven indie game studio dedicated to Steam. With multiple released titles and Seed funding, our team hails from top tech firms and prestigious universities.
Responsibilities
• AI-Native Full-Stack Development: Design and develop games and Web applications using AI Agentic workflows (Cursor, Windsurf, OpenCanvas, etc.). You are expected to own the entire product lifecycle from initial "vibe" to final ship.
• System Orchestration & Deployment: Oversee the full-scope AI generation process, including client-side packaging (Electron/Mobile) and Web deployment. Build robust CI/CD pipelines, error monitoring, and automated alerting systems.
• AI-Driven Asset Pipelines: Explore and implement automated creative workflows. This includes leveraging models like Nano-Banana, Flux, or Stable Diffusion to batch-generate game textures and integrating 3D/2D generative tools into the production pipeline.
Requirements
• TypeScript Mastery: Deeply proficient in the Node.js + TypeScript ecosystem. Expert knowledge of modern stacks: Next.js, Vite, Tailwind CSS, JWT, and MongoDB. Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks like Electron or Flutter.
• Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with the Cloudflare ecosystem (Workers, Pages, D1, R2) and BaaS platforms like Supabase. You should have a "production-ready" mindset regarding server security, data integrity, and payment gateway integration.
• Game Tech Literacy: A solid grasp of rendering fundamentals with experience in at least one engine/library (e.g., Three.js, Phaser, Playcanvas, Unity, Cocos, or Unreal Engine).
• Design Sensibility: A strong eye for UI/UX. Ability to prototype in Figma and maintain a high standard of visual aesthetics and interactive "juice" for games and products.
• LLM Prompt Engineering: Master the art of requirement orchestration by translating complex product needs into precise LLM prompts, leveraging AI tools to automate and execute 90%+ of the end-to-end development work.
Bonus Points
• Agentic Engineering: Practical experience in AI Agent architecture (RAG, Memory/Context management, MCP, Multi-Agent systems) or local LLM deployment.
• Creative Background: Direct experience in UI/UX design or professional game development.
• Technical Literacy: Ability to consume cutting-edge research and documentation in English to stay ahead of the curve.
• Growth Mindset: High self-drive with a radical curiosity for AI news. You have clear insights into how AI is disrupting the industry.
• Cultural Alignment: You embody the Startup spirit, e/acc (Effective Accelerationism), and a "Disrupt" culture.
• Gaming Soul: A hardcore PC/Steam gamer with a deep love for indie games.
